I'm Alexandre, founder of Amazonas und Meer.
For over 15 years I have lived with my family in Germany — and since 2014 I have been guiding small groups on special journeys through my home country of Brazil.

At Amazonas und Meer, we travel differently — rooted in three values:
ecotourism, sustainable tourism and regenerative tourism.
This means: respectful engagement with nature and people, support for local communities and — wherever possible — a positive contribution to the regions we visit.

Two trips per year — two sides of Brazil

First half of the year: Pure nature in southern Brazil
→ Iguazú, Pantanal and Bonito, combined with a charming coastal region in the southeast.
Here you experience intensive ecotourism: crystal-clear rivers in Bonito, wildlife-rich landscapes in the Pantanal, mighty waterfalls in Iguazú — accompanied by sustainable providers and local guides who protect and preserve their region.

Second half of the year: Amazon & Northeast Beaches
→ The Amazon region — around Manaus & Novo Airão or Santarém, den Rio Tapajós und Alter do Chão – the Rio Tapajós and Alter do Chão — combined with carefully selected beaches in Northeast Brazil
Whether Praia dos Carneiros, Natal, Maragogi or Barra Grande (Bahia): each trip is individually and mindfully put together.

I personally accompany every group — from the welcome in Brazil to the last evening by the sea.
Everything is planned, organised and thoughtfully guided — you can relax, enjoy and dive deep into the beauty and diversity of Brazil.
